I Think, Therefore I Am. Poem by Mervyn Graham

I Think, Therefore I Am.

In realms of thought, I roam, I weave,
Existence found in what I perceive.
'I think, I am, ' my mantra clear,
In every thought, I find I'm here.
Within these musings, I shape my fate,
Through intellect, I try to navigate.

Through mists of doubt and shadows deep,
Identity what's within my keep.
'I think, I am, ' a constant thrum,
In all my musing, I become.
Through introspection's searching eye,
My essence gleams, I can't deny.

A dance of mind, a play of thought,
In every notion, self is taught.
'I think, I am, ' the essence known,
In every pondering, I've grown.
Through cognitive exploration's span,
I glimpse the truth of who I am.

So in this realm of thought, I dwell,
Within the mind's expansive swell.
'I think, I am, ' the truth defined,
In every cognition, I find mine,
Through intellect's profound terrain,
I ascertain my being's reign.
