I Thought Poem by Dead Poetic

I thought we were fine.
I thought you were mine.
How could you leave?
Why was I so naïve?
You left me last night.
I felt like I could die.
How could this happen, how can this be?
Weren’t you in love with me?
You stole my heart,
Then broke it apart.
You’re a criminal to my mind,
But you had me in a bind.
I fell for your game,
When you first spoke my name.
But you are gone,
And it won’t be long,
Before I find someone better,
Whom I can claim as my lover.
You’re a poor chap,
Who can change like a snap.
I’m glad you left me,
Now I’m finally free!
Why was I so sad?
In fact, I’m glad.

Stay away from me, never come back,
You messed me up until my world was black.
