I've witnessed color's many wonders.
Savored the scent of angel's breath.
Begged forgiveness for my blunders,
Embraced the loving side of death.
I've glimpsed full blossom in the desert,
Seen sunken spirits soar to mirth,
Witnessed imminence averted,
Beheld my offspring being birthed.
I've been charmed, indeed, to live this story;
Cast as much by pain as glory.
But of all these gifts, none stands above,
Your promise that, I too am loved.

I too...loved this...and in my time have been loved like this...I love the line I have felt the loving side of Death. I was charmed by the poem and it still holds me under its spell. Very well sculpted feelings that have obviously been carved from a living beating heart. Keep living the story in all your glory. love Donall Donall
