I tried so hard to love you
Each and every day
But all you ever did
Was to push me away

I really tried to make it
I gave you my best
But you said, when it came to you
I always gave you less

You came into my world
What a big surprise
I know that you could always see
The smile in my eyes

But I know our time together
Will always stay with me
Everytime I'll think about it
I'll have great memories
