I'Ve Seen Her Pain Poem by La Quida Cummings

I'Ve Seen Her Pain

Do you not see the tears she cries?
Do you not see the cuts she hides?
Do you not see her black and blue eyes?
Do you?

If not you must be blind.
I’ve seen them I’ve seen them all,
I’ve seen the way she changes into a
Scared little girl when he’s around
I’ve seen it, I’ve seen it so many times
I see that she’s dying deep inside
Waking up every morning wishing she had died

Do you not see her steady broken wrist?
Do you not see he steady fractured hips?
Do you?
I have seen them, I’ve seen them all
She’s dying deep inside
The monster has come once again to eat her alive
Little by little, day by day he picks at her soul sucking her dry.
