I Walked Away From You



Thats how it happened
One boring Saturday night.

I wanted to go out to play
To dance and laugh and drink.

You were too tired
Too selfish.

You tried to tie me down
But I wriggled free.

You laughed when I got changed
Not laughing anymore though.

I walked away from you that night
I'm so glad I never looked back.
