I Want Out Poem by Desiree Whitamore

I Want Out

look at me,
who do you see?
can you believe, i am just one person.
you want me to do all these things,
but now i can't breathe.
and i'm suffocating!
help me.
right whats wrong, let me belong,
be the one you always said you were.
you can say that its not okay,
but now you're not the same and you can never change me.
I don't know, where i'm going to go,
when the traffic's slow and the days get longer.
I can't tell, just how you feel,
but I know it's real,
and now i want out.
