I Want To Believe
I look around
No soul, no heart
A big crowd around
No thoughts, no lives.
I want to believe
In what has not come
I want to believe
In the thoughts of the noise
The Sun has not yet
Laid in its throne
But, even in the light
The dark pledges its might
And I look around
And I want to believe
In the lost ones, who
Seem to think I’m lost.
It’s not night yet
But it’s pretty dark
I look around
I want to believe.
