I Will Not Be Another Clone Poem by Brooke Audino

I Will Not Be Another Clone

Rating: 2.8

You stick your nose up at me,
As if I really cared what you thought.
You thought your words would sting like a bee,
But how wrong your momma had taught.

As I sit by this bloodied tree,
I look at things that I have forgotten to see.
Like of what we used to be.

Those feeling of happiness that used to make me feel gay,
Are no emotions that I keep at bay.
I threw those old memories away.

So I watch as you go,
I do stand here all alone.
But I will not allow myself to take a bow,
I do not want to be another clone.
