I Will Stay Poem by Jason Sailor

I Will Stay

i am waiting in this time lapse
waiting for the rest of my life to begin
and i will wait until my body collapses
because leaving might as well be a sin

im waiting waiting for you
to finally bestow the honor of being together
and i will wait, through the weather,
the rains and the sleet for you

and the 1st ill wait
and the 2nd ill debate weather to ask you or not
or not
the 4th ill come forward and tell you i love you
and not know what to say afterword

because im waiting waiting for you
to come on through
and see my point of view
it only includes you

when i wake up and fall asleep
your playing in my mind,
not missing a beat
and there's never time to unwind

when he hurts you i will be their
to pick up the pieces and brush back your hair
i will stay....
i will stay...
this way
and i will stay
i will stay
with you.
