I Wish Poem by Michael Olakunle Adesanya

I wish to be the first in all
First man God created
To name the earthly things
In the unlimited happiness garden
Where I shall know no evil

I wish to be the first son
Where I will act like the father that sent me
Following the father footsteps everywhere I go
The sign of the father shine in me
His blessings lead in the entire path

I wish to see all the good things of my time
Even-though I live in a cave
Where no light, no water, no food to behold
All I have is the brightness of the sun
I pray I come to past
