I Wish Poem by Amy Stuart

I Wish

When I say 'I love you'
You think it's just as friends.
But I mean it truely,
And will until the end.

Everytime you touch me,
My skin begins to crawl.
But you only do it kiddingly,
So I go home and bawl.

I wish it wasn't like this,
I wish it wasn't true.
But when everything is said and done,
I'd give my life for you.

But seeing you is better than not,
And so before I end my life,
I can say before my end,
'I have felt love's strifes.'
