I Wish I Can Be Poem by Isaac Abrahams

I Wish I Can Be

i search
and I search
i see so much
and I see nothing
and the endless desert sands
stretching out
stretching out
in an endless nothing

and the sun burns
burns
as I search
search
for an oasis in the endless desert sands
and I wish to undress myself
undress myself
and lay down in the endless desert sands

and I wish I could forget myself
forget myself
and just be
just be

freedom in the endless desert sands

and I wish
I can just be
yes
i wish I can just be
like a baby
with a brain untainted
untainted by civilization...
