I would like my mind to know how
Not to think
just clever thoughts
But to dwell in cosmic silence
In the midst of noises loud
I would like my senses to feel now
Not pleasures,
just passing fancy
But the peace of eternal goodness
Like sunshine through a cloud
I would like my self to be one
Not with beauty,
vain and proud
But everything still or moving
In this and every nation
I would like my love to flow out
Not like milk,
just here and there
But a thousand rainbows rampant
Encompassing all creation
