Icycle - Poem by Steve Salverius

You scream
“Ice cream”.
Together
we scream
to gather
our ice creams
with whipped cream.

As for ice creams,
our eyes
screen the scene,
therefore you
or I
scream
“Ask four ice creams”.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

A poem that plays with words on the level of phonology
