Idolatry And Isolophilia Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Idolatry And Isolophilia

Rating: 5.0

The vintage portrait of your face and figure,
Nailed for so long on the interior wall of my skull,
It deteriorates like that of Dorian Gray's;
It dissolves its cranium, contours and colours,
In a fusion of acrid art of love and final idolatry:
It enters my bloodstream, and evaporates through my pores;
Detoxification: —out of my being for my wellbeing!

The remained socket in my skull, is now attached to
An ethereal chord, with the cosmic luminescence
Transferring stellar sparks of Universe's energy.
As an embryo in isolophilia, I give birth to my new self:
I soar towards the sky, floating carefree in the Uterus
Of the Universe, in rhythms of celestial music:
Morphing into novel concepts, and symbols of existence.

Quite a metaphysical metamorphosis takes place, attained thru unique metaphors and celestial attachments. An amazing and different, beautiful description of sensations and feelings. Fantasy that overflows in an overwhelming tide of poetic excellence and very imaginative verse.
