If Poem by RACHEL ZARANTONELLO

If

If I tell you I don't want you,
And go on my way,
Would you then, really love me,
and miss me in your day?
If you weren't in my thoughts,
what is it, I'd see?
Do you smile, or run away,
when you think about me?
Letting go is never easy
No matter how hard you try
Never given the chance to succeed, or fail
So I'm left with only, WHY?
The question remains unanswered,
If it could've been, we'll never know,
Without a second thought of tomorrow,
You let what I wanted so much, go.
