If Poem by victoria martinez

If

….If I could tell you my darkest secret
….It would lie at the root of rotted sin
.
If I could tell you my greatest fear
It would lie in voice of a man
.
………I could create a lost light with my shadow
………I could rate your care but, ignore your tone
.
Personally I don’t think I would be the first to admit
That I hate the people I depend on
We fake like we “love” them
We take from them like the “owe” us
.
I could show you my own care
But, I’m actually quite shallow
I look only at words and ignore their facial features
.
………If I could lie trust me it won’t be an honest attempt
………I live and lie like I’m dared
.
If I could escape that golden light
I would run into the darkness
There is where I would be finally free
.
….My sin still lays inside his voice
….And my fear is still I choose my path
…..In the end I was the one to damn myself to hell
