If Poem by Raja Ali

If

If things got any harder
You would be my only sorrow
If I was ever to make you cry again
I would die in your pain

Things will get a bit bad eventually
We are only human, I know that
But to reach there without you
Is not how I want my life, emotionally

If my life was an objective
You would be its aim
I was not so good before
Show the love, heal the pain

Jungles of hope are burning
Chants of the past are returning
I am not responsible for my defeats
If I have you, I will never retreat

If I was a flower, I would be in your arms
You would smell me, I would enchant my charms
With you, it is just that easy
If your gone, everything is breezy

If trees stopped moving by the breeze
I would know your here, my heart would feel your tease
You have become what I have always craved
A cipher of hope, with love engraved

Before I breathe, before I live
I think of you, just you
No one else but you
The reason why I strive

If you were ever to go
I would not be of me hurting you
But If you were tired of happiness
Then, I will happily let you go
