If Blind I See Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

If Blind I See

If bind I see- Then I see true
For what is blind is, I
For I am nothing, unless I'm, Two

The tears are cried- Unlike for, I
For I hear a moment left in time
A loss divine

The rain shall fall- Like all I know
To be missing a piece of me
None, I can show

Here in the dark- I am blind
And so I thought until her vision;
Pursued in place of mine

Somehow I find- Malevolence in truth
Forgotten light that brought obsession;
To belong with you

So, now is life- I'm left behind
Left in the shadow of my love
The selfish kind

But here I am- With all I am
My thoughts of pride can justify;
The pain inside is mine to have

I'm not alone- It's not so bad
No heart can break from love;
A heart never had

Yet, still I call- Her name I know
The only thing in life worth a damn
Somehow she broke me so

If life is pain- And love is life
Where is the love of life
The one I knew before my wife

Still, I am blind- Without defeat
With nothing more than what I have
I've never seen

Therefore, I am- All I need
Perhaps in time I'll convince myself
Then I'll believe
