If ever,
you are unable to find me
midst a crowd of forgotten familiar faces.
Just whisper my name
and I’ll be there besides you!
If ever,
you try to hide
amongst the cluster of dimly-lit stars
in the camouflaged dark skies
I’ll always find you from the fire-works
reflected in your kohl-black eyes!
If ever,
you may be lost
in silky shadowed dream world,
I will ferry you beyond the skies
to the seventh heaven,
on the gossamer wings of my imagination!
If ever,
you may smile at me
a whiff of sweet scented fresh mint
will float in the cool zephyr
and the teetotaler trees
will sway in emerald intoxication!
If ever,
you choose to be with me
I will serve you the vernal verses
from the tree of my poetry
where feathered friends flock together
to twitter on its literary boughs!
If ever
you play that melancholic melody
on your silver flute -
yellow full moon will weep,
teardrops will melt into stardust,
while countless stars like fluorescent flowers
will be tucked in sky’s velvety vest!
And wandering in a maze
of your twilight thoughts
I might be lost
for ever…
