If I could take back Poem by Rusty (Ed) Gibson

If I could take back every I'm sorry
You wouldn't be so mad at me
If I could take back every I'm sorry
You wouldn't want to leave

If I could go back to then
knowing what I know now
taken a different approach
kept my mouth shut somehow

If I could take back every I'm sorry
You would still look that way at me
If I could take back every I'm sorry
this is where you would want to be

If I just kept my temper on a leash
and thought about what is wrong
Give my brain enough time to catch my mouth
and trust you love me above it all

If I could take back every I'm sorry
and replace it with a rose
the world would wonder where they went
because they would all be under your nose

If I could take back every I'm sorry
and replace them with two cents
we would have a million dollars in the bank
and about this give two shi_s

I Love You above it all!
