If I'M Not Here Tomorrow Poem by Kayluh Michelle Ennis

If I'M Not Here Tomorrow

If i''m not here tomorrow
among restless souls that turn grey
this beautiful world turned fridgid
with violent creatures, they prey
Obscurity gapes broader
at every chance granted
my entrance more grand
my leaving more disregarded
If i'm not here tomorrow
to watch the sky bloom
vibrant soulful colors
to which they are true
If i'm not here tomorrow
to breath in the renewed heavens
raising my head marginally
leaving me breathless
If I'm not here tomorrow
to lay in my mothers arms
i shall tell her that i love
i shall never do her harm
So may i be in a world of fridgid obscurity
or among restless souls
at least i'm at home

I may not be here tomorrow
