If Only...
If only life could go on forever, forever, forever.
If only death could come never, never, never.
But death will come and life will pass, as the gulls fly on by.
The waves will crash, the sand will move and everyone will cry.
The cup was full, but now it's gone, the letters stop being sent.
But it's over now, the tide has turned.
My life has just been bent.
