If Only We Would But Ask

I thank God for a Creator
Who's up for any task
Why He can do the impossible
If only we would but ask
Yes faith is an adventure
But a delightful one at that
When we believe..."yes God can do it! "
That's where the power is at

For without faith it's impossible
To please our God you know
For we must believe that He is
Before His power He'll show
But when we by faith believe Him
Our obedience has a sure reward
For our hope finds assurance and victory!
When we trust Him at His Word

I'm glad I have a Father
Who delights to bestow His favour
Especially on the faith believing ones
Who have trusted in the Saviour
For every good and perfect gift
Cometh down from up above
If only we would but ask
He'll bestow on you His love!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
