If The Law Doesn'T Catch Up With You Poem by Francis Duggan

If The Law Doesn'T Catch Up With You

If the Law doesn't catch up with you Karma will one day
For it does seem quite true that crime it does not pay
But if to your higher self you remain as true
Then good things it would seem from life you are due
The workings of Karma seem hard to explain
But if due to you somebody's loss happens to be your gain
Then the seeds of your ill gotten gains you do sow
That's as much about Karma as I can claim to know
Yet the truth in what goes around comes around one ought not to deny
For to everybody that surely does apply
What goes around comes around as some are known to say
And if you want to become wealthy and famous go about it in the right way
Karma is for real though in it you may not believe
From the seeds that we sow the fruits we must receive
