If You Don'T Know Me Poem by Arunesh Dixit

If You Don'T Know Me

How it is important if you don't know me?
You met me like stranger when my heart
Was waiting for much deeper touch than
Just a "Hi" with plastic smiles as any can see!

How it is important if you don't know me?
We were together for several years and
Have laughed and cried on even and odds
Then you walked over to greener side, Lee!

How it is important if you don't know me?
I am not changed and the same as was in ‘90
Your ostensible neglect will not pull any low
As I still stand head high, without bent knee!

How it is important if you don't know me?
I'll not make myself to introduce "I" again
And say "hi there", I was your close mate
Several years ago, we shared same door key!

How it is important if you don't know me?
I'll not tell you, room that was the witness
Still filled with the fragrance of happiness
And walls still say how much close were we!

How it is important if you don't know me?
May not be that much for you and ignoring
Old time has become a habit over the time
But for me your memories are factors to be!

No matter if I am not important to you to know!
As even I am still struggling to fulfill my vow,
Your dejection is not giving me aches anymore
As I know Reality of life is important much more!
