If You Love Him Poem by Angel Jordan

If You Love Him

You eye them, aghast,
mumble your accusation.
It's all in the past,
that feeling, sensation.

Staring in awe,
hear your heart flutter.
You know what you saw,
even as you stutter.

How can this be?
But didn't you know?
Why didn't you see?
I love you so.

As you turn to run,
that first tear drops.
You think your done,
but your heart drops.

If you leave today,
you can't turn around.
Listen what I say,
are you ready, abound?

He's in your heart,
in your soul.
Don't just dart,
you won't feel whole.

Love can be treacherous,
yes, it can be sly.
Love is leacherous,
this feeling won't pass by.
