I'M Gonna Miss You Now Poem by Angel Jordan

I'M Gonna Miss You Now

It's really ending;
coming to a close.
My heart cracking,
but nobody knows.

A most dreaded sight;
a horrid foreboding...
I'm watching you take flight;
a distraught decoding.

I'm gonna miss you,
and it's going to take time.
Eventually I'll move on, too,
but right now grief is mine.

Yes, we'll keep in touch,
but in person is over.
There'll be tears and such,
but we'll be friends forever..

I can comprehend your choice.
I understand the reasons,
but my eyes are moist,
and I'll deal with leisons.

I'm gonna miss you;
I'm gonna cry.
I'll make it through;
I'm gonna try...

I love you so much,
and I hate to see you go.
But I know it's God you clutch,
and that we'll mature and grow.

As I end,
with a farewell.
I know this bidding,
isn't to quell...
