If You Never Really Liked Me
if you never really loved me,
why be with me at all?
if you never really liked me,
why did you always call?
you'd always hold my hand,
we'd rarely be apart,
it was no one-night-stand,
but still you broke my heart.
so if you never really cared,
why waste your time with me?
all you did was cause us pain,
why not just let it be?

Good one Kim, but i wonder at the choice of '' cause us pain '' because the pain and that is why the poem seems to be yours not his. If any pain was caused to him also then holding hands or whatever was worth it.But generally pain is inflicted upon the more nobler and earnest one. You may certainly not agree. I wish I had answers to all the questions you poses here. Chhavi anupam
