Ignited Poem by Jeffrey Richards

Ignited

You called it a night
when you ignited me
Blemishing beauty
Walking rock land alley

You wanted the truth
But settled for a lie
That I was created to be
Your first and last bride

You displayed your might
Brought me down to knees
Dimmed my little light
Ignited the darkness in me
