Ill-Starred Turmoil Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Ill-Starred Turmoil

Rating: 5.0

No answer perfect
At the moment-
To a musical tribute
Of gender bias-
A stampede for ever
Silently that screams
Walking slowly deep down
Running into the suburbs
Of known or unknown
Pious powers of humanity
Getting feeble and frail.

Hours with-
The feelings of nostalgia
History teaches the legends
Inclusion over exclusion
Keeping controversy at bay
Watching the temper of society
Warm and hot-
To give a hard hit, to it
Shaping some new shapes
Avoiding being not genuine
Or legitimate-
No prudent thought
Before any reaction
Divine is coming out-
Jumping off divine relations.

Helpless time is standing still
In its full form to change
The moments and movements
Luring the quiet travel of life
To be calm and peaceful
During, ill-starred turmoil.

The poem grudgingly reflects the shortcomings of the society which needs to be corrected. Thanks. Pious powers of humanity Getting feeble and frail.
