Illusion Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Illusion

Rating: 5.0

Ponder
Momentarily
Existence
Of life
Dependence
Its reliance
Qualms and fears
Repentance
Over the past
Hurries
And worries
Of the day
Awfulness
And darkness
Of tomorrow
Uncertainty
Of earthly
Life
Terrifies

The rich
The poor
Difference
Of high
And low
Theory of
Thine and mine
Isn't illusion?

Corporeal-frame
One feels
Pride of
Serves
No purpose
Eventually
Soul travels
Alone
Like prisoner
Who
Enters
Empty hand
With limited
Needs
And quits
For change.
