Illusions. Poem by Graham Jones

Illusions.

Beauty is as beauty see's
And if the heart and soul agree's
A magic moment then ensues
To grip your mind with hidden clues

Is she single is she free
Is she really meant for me
I see her smile, I see her hair
But does she even know I'm there

She stands real close her perfume strong
I am her shadow right or wrong
Then she turns a fleeting glance
Could this be a new romance

My heart has stopped, I cannot breathe
Her look caresses me with ease
And then I feel the sweetest kiss
This surely must be heavens bliss

I am undone completely lost
My heart the flame within a frost
My eyes wide open I can see
Its nothing but a dream to me.

Delightful Graham, I love your style, which is a bit like my own, so it's compatable. Loved this one. Love Ernestine XXX
