Im Tired Of Change Poem by chip reed

why is this world so full of change
Why is life so strange
why cant things slow down and stay the same
its leaving my heavy heart so full of sigh
i dont get time to decide
but i continue to wonder why
no life changing storm i know
will change who i am
the feelings i show
and damn the blue happy death in the sky
looking so differently
making me act so miserably
acting so blindly
know i can no longer see
what life has in store for me
torture looking on to be
my hearts a frozen sea
feel like taking off to my home trees
and thouroughly sieze
good ol chip find out whats missing
that i use to have to keep me going
cause i dont think i can stand it any longer
without knowing
its hard to be stronger
when its like you have no one
and im the one thats supposivley content
but still it feels like i have nothing to show for it
