In the dead of night
Images appear
Drawn to the light
Little reminders
Of times long past
Bringing back memories
That forever last
Depending on the depth
Of the joy or pain
The images make you happy
Drive you insane
They need to be acknowledged
When they come and go
To be put to rest
Until next they show
