Imagination Poem by Kellie Teter

Imagination

I floated away
on a cloud today
not knowing where
it would take me
A touched the moon
and the stars
and took a dip
in the milky way
I sat on the tallest
trees branches
and sang along with
all the birds
I swam in the deepest seas
With no worries
I'd lose any oxygen
I just took the
salty water in
I jumped of the
largest mountain top
and flew away
right before I hit
the ground
I danced with the sunflowers
in a great big field
These are the things in
a child's minds
and how sweet it would be
to be able to live that way
nothing could hurt us
because the pain isn't real
we'd just live our life
In make believe.
