Immeasurable Poem by George Aul

Immeasurable

When I think of you,
I know my thoughts are right,
to share with you children and love,
my heart would soar like an eagle in flight.

I see a beautiful woman
who paints the world so bright,
my desire is to share that world with you,
and grow together to reach a new height.

I know you are there and I am here,
but distance has no sight,
for space and time are simply meaningless
when you know your heart is right.

Your passion never ceases to dazzle,
and your endless spirit is so light,
I want to hold you, love you, and treasure you
through all the days and with all my might.

And in the end, when it's time to account
for a life that's wrong or a life that's right,
I want to look back knowing you were happy
because I've loved you beyond our very last night.
