Immortal As Socrates Poem by Rodion Myshkin

Immortal As Socrates

Share that cup of hemlock
that this day you so softly raised,
To taste patient peace that mock
Chains in piety faced,
Breed my morals to corruption
As to find answers in elenctic,
Free my thoughts from deception
and live as gadfly than a sceptic.
