Immortality Means Never Dieing? Poem by Lara wolf

Immortality Means Never Dieing?

Rating: 5.0

the flames consume me as i think of you.
not bursting dancing flames of passion between lovers and bed sheets,
but smoldering climbing flames of betrayal.
i thought that love could anchor a person to this world-
that if enough ppl care enough-are truely touched by a person the person shall remain.
but whoever said immorallity meant never dieing?
i pray at night that you still exsist -
somewhere in some parallel plane or heaven in the sky.
i weep for you to be floating amoungst the clouds
but even clouds are ephemral.
words of comfort escape from burning lips, 'you exsist in my head & in my heart.'
still the flames nip at my heels as you cross my mind-
they climb up my body like vines untill i am covered in your memory
i feel them clutching my throat
my lungs gasping for air-
if only you could breathe out just once more so i could breathe you in agian.
breathe life in agian.
i miss you.
i miss you all.
but corpses don't know love
i shudder corpses can't miss me or even know of me.
Now the flames have consumed your vessal
your ash dances on the wind and I weep you were always so beautiful..
