Impalpable Dreams Poem by Paula Somebody

Impalpable Dreams

Fog hiding the bricks of my wall.
I wonder if I should be here at all.
Lingering thoughts of dramatic fright.
Too soon to taste destiny's delight.
Fear is the emotion.
Hiding the taste of the beautiful potion.
Taking away from passionate dreams.
Wondering what beholds behind the scenes.
Taking a day at a time.
Hoping to find myself I left behind.
Where do I go from here?
When you came to soon for my heart to hold dear.
Yet I hold you deep inside
Tempting my heart, my fate, my pride.
Can I grasp what it all means?
Or am I just a victim to impalpable dreams?
