Selfish triumph has its rewards
Yet its value collapses in importance
When caring relationships dwindle…
Lost in a sea of abundance

Asking open inquiries
Sensing a mental disorder
Wondering why the index
Of life is out of order

What is the rational…
That explains the tendency
To look skyward expectantly
Looking for relevancy
