In A Daze Poem by Ima Ryma

In A Daze

While in my store, I guess I fell.
I'm now in a hospital bed,
And in a daze cuz docs do tell
That very soon I will be dead.
How long I've been here I don't know.
It seems like an eternity.
I can accept it's time to go.
Hearts do give out, so why not me?
My wife does say that she is here,
My only son and daughter too.
That means my whole family dear
Have nothing better else to do.

I yell, 'What are you all here for? '
'Who is looking after the store? '
