In An Earthly Utopia Poem by Francis Duggan

In An Earthly Utopia

Have you ever dreamt of a World free of crime
A beautiful World of music, dance, song and rhyme
A multicultural World of peace and harmony
Where the good in those different we only could see.

Where the good in others is never in doubt
'Tis an Earthly Utopia I'm talking about
Where war and war men are a thing of the past
And the white flower of peace she is blooming at last.

A World where all people as equals do meet
And where women at nightfall feel safe on the street
A World where people to their higher selves remain true
And only good karma is everyone's due.

A World where peace, joy and love reign supreme
A dream such as this should be everyone's dream
A World where none would be hungry or homeless or live in poverty
In an Earthly Utopia for all of humanity.
