In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night

Rating: 5.0

In brightest day, world peace is gained,
Compassionate heart heals the hurt;
The pain is eased wonderfully,
Pure love carries no grime nor dirt.

In blackest night, war is at work,
Angry birds fire their wild weapon;
Crushing the place of sheer silence,
Without mercy, very wanton.

In shining dawn, the gentle wind
Blows softly in the new fresh air;
Sharing the truth with the faithless
To be blessed by God the Father.

In darkest dusk, the devil does
Dangerous things to humankind;
Hating the good chosen people,
Total concern is far behind.

Superheroes beat the villains,
For they never give up the fight;
Let the good win over the bad,
In brightest day, in blackest night.
