In Everything, She Is Poem by Chase Breeden

In Everything, She Is

Like the sun subdues the dark of night
She lights the world around her
Blind, was I, by shadows might
Until the day I found her

When birds' sweet call spills from the pines
Land softly on my ear
The notes and melodies refine
So that her song is what I hear

Like a wind, she moves, so quickly forth
Uplifting all that comes her way
Keeping on a straight and narrow course
From which she strives to never stray

She's persistent as a river rolling
So that none can make her stumble
Her current, strong, forever flowing
She remains so meek and humble

Her spirit grows beyond the trees
As they stretch toward the skies
Like a child with overwhelming need
On her Father, she relies

In everything, I see this girl
She provides the Earth elation
I've no doubt, of all that's in this world
She's God's most beautiful creation
