In friendship it’s the little things
That means the most of all

Things that may seem so very small
The… I shall be glad to do it
Things that make you care much lighter
The… come on and laugh with me
Things that make your outlook brighter
The… never mind the trouble
Things that make the yes I understand
The… interest in everything you planned
Things like a friendly word or smile
The… outstretched hand for help
Things that make you take the next step
The… feeling of nearness and warmth
Things that you don’t feel any harm

In friendship it’s the little things
That can add some happiness
To a human’s loneliness
And make this life worthwhile

In friendship it’s the little things
That are a kind of underestimated treasure
