In Life Every Day For You Poem by Francis Duggan

In Life Every Day For You

In life every day for you there is a challenge to meet
For a job start with others you have to compete
In life as in love people win and lose every day
This is how it is and has always been this way
And one fact of life that with us does remain
Is that someone must lose for another to gain
With the increase in the human population more compete for success
And more disappointment and less happiness
This thing known as success so many do desire
And no shortage of those who to greatness aspire
And though the praises of those deemed to be successful the impressionable may sing
Success in itself can be a relative thing
For the one that is successful to you may not be so to me
Suppose everyone on all things do not always agree.
