In Life's Most Desperate Moments … Poem by Dr John Celes

In Life's Most Desperate Moments …

When people make you cry,
Both ones you love and hate,
You felt, ‘better to die! '
But can't do both till date!

When you love others more,
And they behave not well;
And turn your life's eye-sore,
Life can become like hell!

Yet, you can't curse your own!
You cannot bless them yet;
Life makes you like a clown;
You cannot fume or fret.

Life brings such situations;
You feel, ‘fish off water! '
Come oft tribulations;
Problems, you can't cater.

Crest-fallen, in despair,
You know not what to do;
Such things, you cannot bear;
You cannot share them too.

But pray to God, you can;
Invoke all saints, you know;
When trials beset man,
By grace, God saves somehow!
