In Love Poem by Sarah Green

In Love

Rating: 5.0

My heart slams into my ribs as he passes by me,
I can't breath when he looks at me,
My face feels like its on fire when he stares at me,
My brain stops working when he talks to me,
When he laughs, my heart soars,
When he hugs me I die a little,
When he kisses her my soul plummets, and I fall to pieces,
My heart wants to be in her shoes,
My brain wants him to come to me,
Oh what do I do?
I am so mixed up in these feelings,
I can't figure it out,
Does he only think of me as a friend and that's all we can be?
Will i ever have a chance with him?
Being caught in the embrace of love is harder than being caught in trouble as a child,
Being in love when the other doesn't notice is like... ripping out your heart.
